*This position requires a bachelors degree in ECE and a PA Pre-K 4 or N-3 Certificate.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Lead/Assistant Teacher PK-4

Employment Status: Full-Time

Salary Range: $35k-$47k based on years of experience

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Job Duties:

  • Ensure a developmentally appropriate environment for preschool students through the use of Creative Curriculum lesson planning.
  • Ability to sit, run, climb, and actively participate in activities related to the age of the group.
  • Effectively and respectfully communicate with colleagues, parents and staff.
  • Respectfully and actively support Bright Futures Learning Centers, its students and staff.
  • Must pass Child Abuse/Police/Drug Screening.
  • Must pass yearly physical and TB Screening.

Skills and Experience:

  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid
  • At least 1-year previous experience in accredited daycare or Preschool, or equivalent experience working with children.
  • Strong communication and professionalism skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
Assistant Teacher Pre-K 4

Title: Assistant Teacher

Employment Status: Full Time

Salary Range: starting rate of $13/hr

Location: Harrisburg, PA.

Job Duties: 

  • Assist Lead Teachers in execution of daily lesson plans.
  • Ensure all students are engaged/participating in classroom activities.
  • Ability to sit, run, climb, and actively participate in activities related to the age of the group.
  • Communicate with Lead Teacher, parents and staff in an effective and respectful manner. 
  • Monitor child behavior during in person and remote instruction. 
  • Must pass Child Abuse/Police/Drug Screening.
  • Must pass yearly physical and TB Screening.

Skills and Experience:

  • Certifications: CDA.
  • At least 1 year previous experience in accredited daycare or Preschool, or equivalent experience working with children.
  • Strong communication and professionalism skills.
  • Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Lead Teacher School-Aged

Title: School-Aged Teacher.

Employment Status: Full time

Salary Range: $35k-$47k.  BASE SALARY AND COMPENSATION (based on credentials and years of professional experience)

Annual Supplement: Up to $5k.

Location: Harrisburg, PA.

Job Duties: 

  • Effectively monitor, assist and answer questions to ensure students are on task and work is being completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide and maintain healthy learning environment, including CDC guidelines in relation to COVID-19.
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meeting and activities, to support the enhancement of Bright Futures Learning Centers, its students and staff.
  • Must pass Child Abuse/Police/Drug Screening.
  • Must pass yearly physical and TB Screening. 

Skills and Experience:

  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  •  1-3 years of experience in a previously accredited preschool or equivalent experience. 
  • Strong communication and professionalism skills.
